Flora Bell Nichols, 80, Somerset, died Sunday at Somerset City Hospital after a long illness.

She was born in Williamsburg, Ky., on September 29, 1891, the daughter of Mose and Lettie Mercer Dobbs, both deceased. She married the late William Hill in 1907 in Somerset and he died in 1953. After the death of her first husband, she married Everett Nichols on Jan. 4, 1961. He died on August 21 of this year.

Survivors include one son, William H. Hill of Xenia, Ohio; six daughters, Mrs. Audrey Mae Heath of Somerset, Mrs. Lele Bea Stines of Danville, Mrs. Lorena Sears and Mrs. Alabama Hamm, both of Somerset, Mrs. Zelma Walker and Mrs. Irene Osborne, both of Dayton, Ohio; four brothers, Pat Dobbs of Keno, Arthur Dobbs of Anniston, Ala., Homer Dobbs of Somerset and Oford Dobbs of Augusta, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Oda Davis, Somerset and Mrs. Elmer Wilson of Tateville; 28 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.

She came here from Whitley County, was a housewife and a member of the Burnside Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held today in the chapel of the Somerset Undertaking Company. Burial was in the West Somerset Cemetery.
