Funeral services for W. P. Shofner of Hutchins, a driver for the Brown Express Co. in Dallas for 29 years, will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church of Hutchins. Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Mr. Shofner, a native of Ferris died Thursday at Hutchins. A Hutchins resident 32 years, he was a member of the First Baptist Church there.

Survivors: Wife: a daughter, Mrs. Otis Jones of Hutchins; a son, Boyd Shofner of Richardson; two sisters, Mrs. John I Smith and Mrs. William Hines of Dallas, and two grandchildren.
