Clementine was born on April 23, 1919 to Anton and Elizabeth (Doworshak) Neibauer in Huff, ND. She was raised and educated in Huff. Clementine married James "Vince" Belohlavek on October 19, 1938 at Huff. They made their home on the family farm near Huff. Her hard work and dedication to the farm was evident to all who knew her. Helping her husband James with all the farm work, churning her own butter and baking her own bread, were things she enjoyed doing regularly. Tending to a large garden and canning also filled her days. Using her exceptional cooking skills, Clementine worked as a broiler/cook for Jerry's Supper Club, The Gourmet House, Bismarck Elks, The Back Door Steak House and Seven Seas, retiring at age 74.

A call to love and serve others was seen in her devotion to Spirit of Life Catholic Church. Spending time with family was always close to her heart. Just sitting with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren was always a delight. Every Saturday was baking day; kolaches, strudel and all kinds of other goodies. Sundays were fried chicken dinner day, her specialty. While enjoying all holidays, Christmas was her favorite. Whether she served duck with potato dumplings and goose, sauerkraut with liver dumpling soup, you knew it was made with love. In her spare time, Clementine enjoyed tending to her flower garden and putting puzzles together with her husband, Vince. Cats also had a special place in her heart. One could usually be found sitting on her lap.

Clementine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter and son-in-law, Marion (Jim) Lord; daughter-in-law, Carol Belohlavek; sisters, Katherine Wahl, Mary Charvat, Helen Fetch and a brother, Henry Neibauer.
