Henrietta S. Rice, 91, of Sandusky, passed away late Friday afternoon, Nov. 2, 2012, in Providence Care Center, Sandusky, after a brief illness.

She was born Feb. 15, 1921, in Madison, Ind., daughter of the late Ralph and Mary (Dipper) Wykoff. She was a 1940 graduate of Sandusky High School.

Henrietta was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Karen (George) Dehn, of Sandusky; son, Gary (Peggy Ann) Rice, of Sandusky; two grandchildren, Leonardo and Melissa; three great-grandchildren, Alyah, Mason and Kailin; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Rice (2002); parents; and sister, Georgine Haynes.

At her request, there will be no visitation. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky. The Rev. John Mawhirter willo officiate.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to one's favorite charity.
