Minnie Bullins Pruitt, 81, of Mount Villa, Mayodan, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 1994, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.

Born in Stokes County, she was the wife of the late Nathaniel Pruitt, and a homemaker. She was a member of Maple Lawn Baptist Church and Honorary Member of Daughter's of the Confederacy. she had lived in Stokesdale for 45 years.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15 at Maple Lawn Baptist Church by the Rev. Crawford Bradshaw and the Rev. Fletcher Manuel. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Surviving are daughters, Irene Shields of High Point, Leona Cox of Madison, Oma Lou Pitts of Colfax, Lula Mae Bullins of Stoneville, Mazie Matthews of Stokesdale; sons, Lewis "Jack" Pruitt of Summerfield, Terry Pruitt of Walkertown; brother, Ed Bullins of Mayodan; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 7-9 tonight at Brooke Funeral Home in Stokesdale, other times at her daughter's, Mazie Matthews, 8309 Prince Edward Road, Stokesdale.
