Bernice Tingle,84, of Benham passed away at her residence. She was the daughter of Charles and Lena Tingle Moore. She married Alton Tingle on November 16, 1960, and he survives Other survivors include three sons, William Herman Jr. and his wife Loan of Dallas. Bob Herman and his wife Joanne of Trafalgar, and Don Herman and his wife Sue of Phoenix; one brother Charles Monroe of Rexville; two sisters Lottie Butler and Juanita Wilson both of Phoenix; her mother-in Mrs. Elsie Tingle of Osgood; seventeen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Evelyn Marie Ross,, brother William, Adolphus, and Kenneth Moore and her sister Margaret Washburn and Geneva Monroe. Mrs. Tingle was a 1938 graduate of Manual High School in Indianapolis and retired from Indiana Bell in 1961. Graveside services were held August 30th at the Benham Cemetery.
