Lydia Lida Davis was born to Harvey "Henry" Davis 1806-1893 and Sarah Pritchard 1813-1906 in New Garden, Wayne, Indiana.

Siblings were Lucy 1848- , George A. 1849-1884, Maurice 1849-1850, Julietta 1851-1920, Martin Pritchard 1852-1938, Eliza 1856-1936 and LYDIA(LIDA) 1856 or 1857 -AFT 1922. Half-siblings by her father and Eunice Hayes 1803-1847 were Emily 1827-1858, Mary Jane 1831-1904, Rebecca 1835- , William Frederick 1838-1925, Susan 1841-1886 and Sarah A. 1847-1860.

Lydia married Rev. Worth around 1920, at the ago of 60 yrs. old.(1920 census says they were married.) She is buried alongside Aaron in Willow Grove Cemetery in Fountain City, Indiana.

People remember Lydia repeating a rhyme that went like this..."Chickama, chickama, camico went to the well to wash my toe. When I got back my chicken was dead. What time is it old witch?"...this is old verse from Pasqoutank Outer Banks, N.C.
