The family will receive friends at the funeral home this afternoon from 4:00 until 6:00 PM. // Mrs. TALBOT was born December 11, 1911, in Chambers County, Alabama, daughter of the late Andrew Lafayette STILWELL and Annie Mae CLARK STILWELL. She was a 1929 graduate of Columbus High and a graduate of Clara Belle Smith Business School. Mrs. TALBOT was a long time member of First Baptist Church, the Young at Hearts Sunday School and the W[omens] M[issionary] U[nion] at the church. She had retired from McMath, Trussel and Turner Construction Company as the Office Manager. She then became involved in the community through membership in the Columbus Women's Club, the Christian Fellowship Association and the Columbus Exchange Club. Mrs. TALBOT was also an avid Bridge player, enjoying the game as well as her friends. // Mrs. TALBOT was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Glen TALBOT; siblings, Edwin STILWELL, Willie Clye CAPPS, Hazel STILWELL HOLT, Alma M. STILWELL and Jeanette S.
