Hazel Jones Of Whittington Dies At Age 63
Hazel Jones, 63, of Whittington, died at 8:00 a.m. today at the Miners Hospital in Christopher. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Johnston Funeral Home in Whittington, with the Rev. Howard Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Shiloh cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Johnston Funeral Home in Whittington, where friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Sunday. She was born August 19, 1902 in Franklin county, the daughter of Bert and Eva (Day) Taylor. Surviving are one son, Orville Jones of Whittington; one brother, Kenneth Taylor of Whittington; one sister, Fern Pickett of Whittington; and two grandchildren.
