Mary Louise Crummett, 91, of Staunton, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Envoy in Staunton.
She was born May 7, 1918 in Suffolk, a daughter of the late William Jasper and Viola Rawls Daughtrey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayburn Crummett, on Oct. 27, 1990; and two brothers, Marvin and Edward Daughtrey.
Mrs. Crummett was a member of Fifth Street United Brethren Church. She was a graduate of Madison College, and had taught school in Highland and Augusta counties.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Zane Leroy Crummett of Staunton, and William Vance and Karen Crummett of Swoope; a sister, Kathryn D. Pierce of Suffolk; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m., Friday, March 12, in Head Waters Cemetery with the Rev. Harry Moore officiating.
