PLATTSBURGH — Mr. Francis A. Neri Jr., 63, of Hartwell Street, Plattsburgh, passed away Friday, April 7, 2006, at the CVPH Medical Center with his family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh on July 5, 1942, the son of Francis A. and Agnes (Althizer) Neri.
Francis enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with his family. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Victory Church.
Francis was predeceased by his father, Francis A. Neri Sr. and his wife Nancy L. Neri.
He is survived by a son, Francis A. Neri III and his wife Stephaine of Saranac; a daughter, Rose Breyette of Plattsburgh; a stepson, Michael A. Napolitano and his wife Jocelyn of Cibolo, Texas; two brothers, Edward Althizer of Plattsburgh, Terry Neri of Plattsburgh; a sister, Kathy Moore of Plattsburgh; four grandchildren, Francis and Shawn Neri and Kaitlyn and Andrew Napolitano; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh.
A funeral service will follow at 8:30 p.m. with the Rev. Floyd "Jerry" Bleaux, pastor of Our Lady of Victory Church, officiating.
