Cooperstown---Carl G. Christiansen, 53, Fly Creek, died Jan. 7, 1946, in his home following an illness of three years. He was born in Denmark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Christiansen. He came to this country when 22 and in 1903 he returned to his native land where he married Eingar Kundsen. They have resided in this area for 25 years. Besides his wife, he leaves a son Hartwick, recently discharged from the Army; four daughters, Mrs. Leon Sahakian, Mrs. Ernest Winnie and Esther and Amy Christiansen, all of Fly Creek; two brothers and a sister, in Denmark. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. today in Ingalls Funeral Home here with burial in Fly Creek Cemetery." ["The Daily Press" (Utica, NY)]
