Daisy Mae was born in Mildred, Texas, to the late George Washington Murphy and Mittie Mae Ferrell Murphy. She was raised in Corsicana and married Randall Lewis Robinson on December 31, 1945. Daisy and "Pepa" were married for 44 years. She worked at Adams Hat Factory in Corsicana for 21 years, retiring in 1981 to spend time with her children and wonderful grandchildren. She was affectionately known as "Mema" by everyone. She cherished her beloved dog, Bandit, and enjoyed working in her yard and growing beautiful flowers.
Daisy is preceded in death by her husband, Randall; grandsons, Chris Trainer and Kenny Robinson; step-mother, Emma Boyte Murphy; and sister, Hazel Carroll.
Daisy is survived by her sons, Wayne "Sam" Robinson and wife, Patsy, of Mexia, Randall "Bud" Robinson Jr. and wife, Melissa, of Streetman, Kenneth Robinson, of Conroe, and Paul Robinson and wife, Sandra of Streetman; daughters, Carolyn Schick and husband, Billie, of Fairfield, Shirley Robinson, of Fairfield, and Paula Paulk, of Waco; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; sisters, Georgia Sonntag, of Arlington, Rosie Thompson and husband, Charlie, of Garland, Lillie Gayle Holladay and husband, Doc, of Plano; as well as other relatives and many friends.
