ANDERSON--Judy A. Vance, 57, of Anderson, passed away suddenly Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at her residence.
She was born November 22, 1954 to Carson and Opal (Lamb) Johnson in Sneedville, Tennessee.
Judy was employed until recently as an environmental services technician at Community Hospital, Anderson, where she worked for 15 years. She was married to Terry Vance on April 7, 1975 in Sneedville, TN. Judy was also a former of Swan Creek Baptist Church in Sneedville, TN.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 37 years, Terry Vance of Anderson; two daughters, Valerie (Chris) Myers of Indianapolis, and Elizabeth (Ryan) Wallace of West Lafayette; two grandchildren, Gabrielle Marlett of Daleville and Collin Myers of Indianapolis; father, Carson Johnson of Sneedville, TN; two sisters, Betty Jo Seabolt of New Tazewell, TN, and Sherry Dinardi of Kingsport, TN; three brothers, Carl Johnson and Billy Johnson, both of Sneedville, TN, and Lowell Johnson of New Tazewell, TN; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Opal Johnson.
Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Garden View Funeral Home, Muncie. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 5, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Trimble officiating. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie.
