Uremic poisoning caused the death of George U Day, North Fifth St. at the city hospital this morning. He had been ill for some time.
Mr. Day was born Sept. 22, 1872 in Franklin tp. and spent all of his life in and around Coshocton.
He was united in marriage with Miss Rosa Catherine Zimmer Dec 12, 1898 in Coshocton county. To this union were born three children, Ernest Day, Mrs.R.J. Oyler, both of Canton and Mrs. John Brushwood of this city. Two brothers and a sister, Alva Day, Lester Day and Mrs. Andrew Heiser, all of this city also survive, with two grandchildren.
Short funeral services will be held at 124 N. Twelfth St. Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, after which regular services will be held at the Franklin Church. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery.
