Dennis M. Stout, 64, of Hennepin died Nov. 1, 2012, in St. Margaret's Hospital, Spring Valley.

Memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Sunday in Dysart–Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville. Pastor Jack Stites and Pastor Carol Stufflebeam will officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

Mr. Stout was born Aug. 12, 1948, in Spring Valley to Harrison and Ellen (McFarlin) Stout. He married Pam Miller on July 5, 1989, in Princeton.

He graduated from Henry High School in 1966 and attended Illinois Valley Community College. He was a material expediter of operations at LTV Steel in Hennepin from 1967 to 2009. He was an avid golfer and duck hunter.

Survivors include his wife of Hennepin; two daughters, Patrice (Dennis) Stadler of Madison, Wis., and Sonya (Jeff) Baran of Normal; two brothers, Gary Stout of Lebanon, Tenn., and Dave (Denise) Stout of Henry; seven grandchildren, Marissa, Ashley, Hannah, Shelby, Tanner, Lucas, Savoy; one great-grandson, Jude; numerous nieces and nephews; and his in-laws, Jim and Eleanor Miller of Princeton. He also will be missed by his beloved cat "Miss Kitty."

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Sue Carr.

Memorials may be directed to First Congregational Church of Bureau, Hennepin United Methodist Church or Friends of Strays.
