Teresa Rickett MOORESVILLE Mrs. Teresa Michelle Rickett, 40, of 165 W. Statesville Ave., Moores-ville, passed away Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. She was born in Iredell County April 7, 1972, and was the daughter of Patsy Frazier Stockton and the late Harvey Lee Stockton. She was married to Tony Lee Rickett, who survives. She was a graduate of the Mooresville City Schools and also earned an associates degree in Early Childhood Education. She was a member of 1st Congregational United Church of Christ, Mooresville. Prior to her death, she employed by the Mooresville Graded School District. In addition to her husband, Tony Lee Rickett, of the home, and her mother, survivors include two sons, Jeremy Tyrone Rickett, of Bluefield, W.Va. and Gregory O'Brian Rickett, of the home; a daughter, Amber Michelle Leigh Rickett, of the home; two brothers, Gregory Bernard Frazier and Brian Eugene Stockton, both of Mooresville; a granddaughter, Aliyah Rickett; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, the Rev. Freddie (Rosie) Torrence, of Mooresville; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 3, at 1 p.m. at The First Baptist Church, Mooresville, Dr. Jeffery Cloninger, is pastor. Mrs. Sharnetta Clark-Gordan will officiate, and Pastor Lawrence Williams will eulogize. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Rickett will remain at Clyburn and Bigham Funeral Home until taken to the church to lie in state at 12 p.m. Members of the family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1 p.m., at the church, but will assemble at the residence at other times. Clyburn and Bigham Mortuary, Mooresville is serving the family of Mrs. Teresa Rickett.
