Anita Lynn Hayes, 62, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was born June 15, 1950, in Memphis. She was a store manager, restaurant owner and independent salesperson. She was a member of Carolina United Methodist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Booneville Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Kerry Powell officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
She is survived by a son, Wesley Hammonds of Atoka, Tenn.; a sister, Lourine Gullett of Booneville; a grandson, Jacab Wilson of Booneville; a daughter-in-law, Tamee Sparks of Booneville; and nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews and one great-great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by a son, Roy Sparks; parents, Guy and Grace Counce; and a sister, Kathleen Roberts.
Pallbearers are Kevin Crump, Greg Shelton, Kevin Keller, Bryson Edge, Justin Aycock and Trevor King.
