MRS. ALVIRA KUHN DEAD
Remains Being Brought from California for Burial Here
Mrs. Alvira Kuhn, mother of John Kuhn and Mrs. Carl O'Neal and Miss Blanch Kuhn died yesterday morning in Los Angeles, California where she went last fall to live with her daughter, Mrs. O'Neal.
The family formerly resided at Sixth and Howard streets and were residents of Carthage since the early 70's. Death resulted from dropsy, succeeding a recent surgical operation for cancerous tumor.
The remains have been shipped by express and will reach Carthage in time for burial probably on Monday at Park Cemetery. Dr. John Kuhn of Webb City is now the only relative here.

FUNERAL OF MRS. KUHN
Remains Brought Here from Los Angeles for Interment
The remains of Mrs. Alvira Kuhn, who resided for many years in Carthage, arrived this morning at 4:35 from Los Angeles, CA., where she died last Wednesday, April 1 and were laid to rest this afternoon in Park Cemetery.
The funeral was conducted by Presiding Elder E. P. Anderson, from the residence of W. L. Sanders at Grant and Sixth streets at 2:30 p.m., and was largely attended. Her son, Dr. John R. Kuhn was present from Webb City.
The pall bearers selected were W. L. Sanders, E. B. Jacobs, R. DeGraff, J. W. Munson, Robert Moore and R. E. L. Halliburton.
