MRS. RUSHHART DIES

Was Known as "St. Anthony of Fort Crook" for Work Among Poor.

Mrs. Estelle Rushhart, 53, familiarly known to residents of Fort Crook, where she had lived for the last 25 years, as "the St. Anthony of Fort Crook" for her work among the poor and needy, died Tuesday at her home, following a brief illness.

For the last 20 years, Mrs. Rushhart had been postmistress at Fort Crook. She is survived by her husband, George F. Rushhart, six sisters, Mrs. E. B. Rushhart of Locust Grove, Okla.; Mrs. C. W. Weston, Portland, Ore.; Mrs. L. P. Dyhrberg, Mrs. J. H. Beard, Mrs. E. A. White, and Miss Rean Fitzpatrick, all of Omaha. A brother, W. J. Fitzpatrick, also of Omaha, survives.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 8:15 o'clock from the residence to St. Bridget's church at 9. Burial will be in Holy Sepulcher cemetery.

EULOGIZE MRS. RUSHART

Pastor at Funeral Performed Wedding 25 Years Ago.

A sermon eulogizing philanthropies of Mrs. George F. Rushart, 53, known as the "St. Anthony of Fort Crook," who died Wednesday, was delivered at funeral services at St. Bridget's church, South Omaha, Friday by Father T. C. Callahan, who performed her marriage ceremony twenty-five years ago. Father Francis J. Worthman celebrated high mass. Preceding mass at St. Bridget's, a short service was held at the residence in Fort Crook.

Pallbearers were Judge Begley, Plattsmouth; Judge Wheat, Papillion; William P. Lynch, John M. Gillan, J. P. O'Keefe and Edward Lowry, all of Omaha. Burial was at Holy Sepulcher cemetery.
