Ferdinand Peters, a long time resident of this city and for many years employed in the cement business, died suddenly at his home, 1209 West John street, shortly after two o'clock, Wednesday afternoon, death resulting from a heart attack. Mr. Peters was stricken in front of his home while returning from a neighborhood store and died shortly after his removal into the house.
Born in Holstein, Germany, May 20, 1880, he was 56 years of age. When four years of age, he came to America with his parents and other members of the family. He never married. His parents preceded him in death.
Surviving to mourn his passing are two brothers, Herman C. Peters, also a bachelor, with whom he made his home, and John F. Peters.
