Margaret Minerva Lowe, 91, of Three Oaks, Michigan died unexpectedly early Monday morning at her home. Margaret was born April 5, 1914 in Bradley, Illinois to Clayton and Lota (Connett) Campbell. She married Frank H. Lowe on May 27, 1933 and he preceded her in death in 1968.

She worked at SunAcre Fruit Farms for 35 years, both in the store and in the packing house. In the 1970s she worked at River Valley High School and was affectionately known as Ma in her role as hall monitor.

Margaret was a lifelong member of St. Johns United Church of Christ in Three Oaks. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Gleissner of North Vernon, Indiana; five grandchildren, Jack Forker, Jr. and Russell Forker, both of Three Oaks and Jeff Forker of Stanton, Nebraska; Carrie Meador of North Vernon, Indiana and Jackie Burdette of Broadhead, Kentucky; also surviving are seventeen great grandchildren and three sisters, Bonnie Tappan of Three Oaks; Alice Salsbery of Sharpsville, Indiana and Leona Hutchinson of Wabash, Indiana. In addition to her husband Frank, she was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers and a great grandson.

Friends may call on Wednesday, June 8, 2005 from 5 to 8 P.M. at Pobocik Funeral Home, Three Oaks. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 9, 2005 at the funeral home, with Mr. Charles McKelvy officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Chikaming Township, Michigan.
