Alice Ann Przymus was born on July 4th, 1930 to Peter and Agnes (Behnke) Przymus. She attended Wilno Catholic School and graduated from Ivanhoe Public school. On September 22, 1948 Alice was united in marriage to Raymond Steffes. They made their home on the family farm where they raised eleven children. Her devotion to Ray and their children created a strong sense of family. Alice was the heart and soul of her family by creating and passing on the family traditions her children and grandchildren will always remember and cherish.

After raising her family Alice continued her vocation for caring by becoming a certified nursing assistant. As a CNA at Divine Providence Hospital and Home and later as a home health aide, Alice impacted so many lives with her compassion and generous ways.

Alice was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Her faith in the Blessed Mother and the Church was unwavering. Alice was active in the Catholic Ladies Guild, taught religious education for many years and distributed communion at the Hendricks Nursing Home. She was on the Selective Service Board, a member of the Schoenstatt Pioneer Couples and Willing Workers Neighborhood Group.

To relax Alice enjoyed tending to her cats and flower gardens on the farm, reading, crocheting, and watching the Minnesota Twins play baseball. She and Ray traveled many miles attending their children and grandchildren's life events.

Alice is survived by ten children: Wayne, Jean, Allen, Marian, Leslie, Robert, Karen, Betty, Lynn and Paula, twenty nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray, daughter June and son-in law Steve, her parents, one sister and five brothers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 111 North Sherwood, Ivanhoe, MN 56142.

Blessed be her memory.
