Thelma Dickerson was a former resident of Dallas, Texas. She died Sunday, November 21, 2004 at the Grangeville Health and Rehab Center in Grangeville, Idaho. She was interested in sports and played commercial basketball in the late 1920s. She bowled in Dallas leagues until the age of 82. She loved travel and visited all 50 state capitals and all the Canadian province capitals. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Dickerson of 61 years. Survivors included a son of Wills Point, Texas; a daughter of Kooskia, Idaho; three granddaughters of Moses Lake, Washington; Sonora, Texas and Plano, Texas and three grandsons of Happy Valley, Oregon; Kooskia, Idaho and Wills Point, Texas; 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were at the Blackmer Funeral Home in Grangeville, Idaho with Pastor Harold Gott of the Grangeville Christian Church officiating. Interment was at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
