Age 53 years, 11 months, 6 days. On May 14, 1851, he married Susan Amelia Thompson (1832-1875) in the District of Columbia.

Death of Mr. Henry Yeatman
Ex-policeman Henry Yeatman, who has been in bad health for some time, died at his residence, on F Street, at 2:30 o’clock this morning, of dropsy. Mr. Yeatman had served twenty-seven years on the police force of the District and has always commanded much respect in the community for his efficiency and sterling character. He has been off the force two months and during most of that time has been confined as an invalid. Mr. Yeatman leaves nine children, all of whom are grown with the exception of two. For a long time he has been a member of Anchor Lodge, Independent Order of Mechanics.

Rest in peace, dear Father.

Funeral will take place from his late residence, 472 F Street Southwest, on Saturday, 26th instant, at 2:30 o’clock PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment at Glenwood Cemetery.
