Sharon Ann Colyott nee Douglas was born on Sunday, April 5, 1942 to Cecil Douglas and Zulia Gilbert Douglas in Altus, Oklahoma. She passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at the age of 65 years, 6 months and 5 days.
Sharon married Ivan Colyott on April 5, 1959 in Altus, Oklahoma and to this union one daughter was born. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and enjoyed attending church. She loved her family and spoiled her grandchildren who called her "Me Me." She liked to listen to music and shop for purses and watches.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Newman Douglas; and sister, Sandra Arnold.
She is survived by her husband, Ivan, of the home; daughter, Zanada (Ernie) Martin of Steelville, Missouri; brother, Cecil Paul Douglas of Texas; grandchildren, Brittany, Chelsea, Cassidy and Canaan Martin; brother-in-law, Gene Colyott, all of Steelville, Missouri; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was Wednesday, October 17, 2007 from 10-11 a.m. at Hutson Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri. Funeral service was at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating. Burial at Freeman Cemetery, Cherryville, Missouri.
All arrangements under the direction of the Hutson Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri.
