John retired from Cytec, was an avid bowler and enjoyed hunting, fishing and NASCAR.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann LaFevar Exline, whom he married April 30, 1962; one son, Charles Exline and his wife, Sherry, of Parkersburg, WV; one brother, Robert Exline of Kilbuck, OH; two nieces; and two nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Gary Lee Exline.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2005 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green Street, Parkersburg, WV. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until time of services Monday at the funeral home.
