Mary E. Hubbard, 79, of York, died at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at York Hospital. She was the wife of William H. Hubbard of York.

The service will be 2 p.m. Monday at the William E. Little Funeral Home Inc., 60 S. Main St., Manchester. Burial will be in Manchester Union Cemetery. Viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hubbard was born Aug. 8, 1918, in Emigsville. She was the daughter of the late George and Mamie (Neiman) Hoke.

She retired from York Container Co., where she was a machine operator for 25 years. She was a charter member of St. Marks Lutheran Church in Emigsville.

Mrs. Hubbard also is survived by a daughter, Darlene Adams of Akron, Ohio; two stepsons, Robert W. Hubbard of York and Gary W. Hubbard of Riverside, Calif; a stepdaughter, Karen Sheaffer of Ephrata; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Stephen W. Yambor. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Marks Lutheran Church Building Fund, 3293 Broad St., Emigsville 17319.
