Benny, 85, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012, in Medford, Oregon, after fighting lung cancer.
Benny was born august 22, 1926 in Agana, Guam.
He survived the Japanese occupation of the island, made it to the mainland in 1946, and joined the Army Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
After the war, he settled down in Medford, where he met and married Juanita Ragsdale, from Eagle Point, Oregon. He worked as a barber, and as the grounds maintenance chief for over 30 years at the VA Domiciliary in White City, Oregon.
Benny loved life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and spending time with family. He was a funny, kind, and friendly person, always helping others. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.
He is survived by his sister, Delores Barac; sons, John, Manuel, and Michael Flores; daughters, Luana Weathers and Jene Flores; grandchildren, Kristen Flores, Justin Flores, Stefanie Venable, Amanda Bradway, Jessica Strother, Alyssa Weathers, Jeremy Smith, Ryan Paauwe, Christopher Flores, Nicholas Flores, and Benjamin Flores; and great grandchildren, Ava Flores and Ethan Paauwe.
