I am looking for his siblings yet, along with any confirmation of his parents and grandparents.
It is unknown if Louis came with family members, parents, or others. Louis did travel again in 1894 back & forth to Germany on another ship.
1895 Census living in New York with his brother Michael Werthmann.
Carl Louis was naturalized and may have lived in Pennsylvania.
Louis lived in Milwaukee for most of his life.
He wed Josephine Schmidt who is also buried in this same cemetery.
Louis and Josephine had 3 children. Marie, Henry, and Louis Jr. The 3 of them also were raised in the Milwaukee area.
Originally Louis lived in New York, which is where the 3 kids were also born. He operated a meat market in NY.
