William A. Terhune Missing In Action in European Areaβ€”Mrs. and Ms. Albert Terhune, residing a mile west of Pickard, received a message Wednesday from the War Department advising them that their son, William Albert Terhune, 29, had been reported missing in action in the European area.

Young Terhune was a radio operator on a C-26 Marauder bomber, and was based at London, England. He had been overseas since February, 1942.
