She had been a resident of the Frankfort area since 1914, moving here from Martinsville. She had formerly been a resident of Kansas and Missouri.
Mrs. Terhune was a member of the Hills Baptist Church, Ladies Aid of the Hills Baptist Scircle, the Sugar Creek Homemakers Club and a Gold Star Mother of Clinton County.
Mrs. Terhune was born in Hiawatha, Kansas on June 10, 1893, the daughter of William Robert and Ida Bell Proffitt. On April 16, 1913 she was married to Albert F. Terhune, and he preceded her in death in 1966.
One son, William A. Terhune, was killed in action in France in 1943.
A daughter, Mrs. Betty Rohrer of Sheridan rt. 1; and a niece, Mrs. Frank Darnall of Santee, California survive. Also surviving are two granddaughters, Sharyle and Renea Rohrer at home.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Goodwin Funeral Home, Rev. Earl H. Anderson and Rev. Frank Smith officiating. Burial will be made in Whiteman Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Saturday.
