A man who live in the Sheridan area for 22 years, died at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville on the Fourth of July (1966).

He was Albert F. Terhune, 74. He passed away at 12:05 p.m. following a four month illness. He was a retired farmer.
Mr. Terhune was born in Independence, Kansas on October 8, 1891, the son of Floyd W. and Laura (Dressler) Terhune. On April 16, 1913, he married Ethel I. Proffitt, who survives.

A member of the New Harmony Methodist Church, he moved from Kansas to Martinsville, Indiana when he was eight years old, and then came to Clinton County in 1916.

From 1921 to 1926, he was the manager of the McClellan Dairy Farm near Scircleville, which then was the largest in Indiana.

Survivors other that his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Betty) Rohrer of Sheridan rt. 1; two granddaughters, Sharyle and Renea Rohrer; a sister, Bessil Balay of Martinsville; and several nieces and nephews.

A son, William A., lost his life while on a bombing mission in Europe during the World War II.

A sister and four brothers also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Goodwin Funeral Home, with Rev. Earl Anderson and Rev. Frank Smith officiating. Burial will be in Whiteman Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.
