Mrs. Louise M. Tarner, 66, of 1109 E. Washington St., Frankfort, died at 8:30 o'clock Monday morning (May 2, 1966) at the Clinton County Hospital, following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Tarner was the wife of Rev. Paul M. Tarner of the Christian Pilgrim Church. She had moved to Frankfort from Sterling, Illinois in 1945 and had remained here until 1952, when she went to Kewanna, remaining there until the fall of 1953, and then moving to LaGrange. The family had returned to Frankfort one week ago.

Mrs. Tarner was born in Burdi, Minnesota on March 3, 1900. She became a member of the Church of the Nazarene in 1931 at Reading, Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Christian Pilgrim Church.

She is survived by the husband, Rev. Paul M. Tarner, to whom she was married August 27, 1921; two sons, Donald R. Tarner of Warsaw and Paul W. Tarner of Boyleston; two sisters, Miss Sadie Tarner of Sterling, Illinois and Mrs. Olga Wolber of Emerson, Illinois; a half-sister, Minnie Shardine of Lake Benton, Minnesota; and five grandchildren.

Two sisters and a half-sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Goodwin Funeral Home, with Rev. Jessie officiating, and burial will be made in Whiteman Cemetery.

It was announced that friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
