Lillian M. "Lil" (Welch) Boutilier of Charlestown died suddenly on April 12. She was 85 years old.
"Lil" was First Mayor of Charlestown in 1984, a member of Ladies-Auxiliary Post 26, American Legion, the Charlestown Schoolgirls Association and the Bunker Hill Irish Heritage Society.
The beloved wife of the late Leonard G. Boutilier, she was the devoted mother of Lillian King of Weymouth, Leonard Boutilier of Charlestown, Lorraine Pacini of Malden, Lori Buckley of Londonderry, N.H. and Christina Boutilier of Manchester, N.H.; loving grandmother of eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; beloved sister of John Welch, Theresa Lang, Joseph, Ned and Pat Welch and the late Mildred Wall, Richard, Michael and Leo Welch.
Funeral arrangements were by the Frank H. Carr Funeral Home, Charlestown. Burial was at Holy Cross Cemetery. Malden
