Bellsville Community Loses Good Citizen

The death angel has again made its presence known in Brown County.

Mrs. Charlotte (Jacob) Lawles of New Bellsville was a victim of heart trouble Tuesday, October 12, at 9:00 a.m. Mrs. Lawles was 81 years of age and respected and loved by all who knew her. In passing the community has lost one of its most loved citizens.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Lucretia Deaver of that community and Mrs. Amy Roberts of Mooresville. She had for many years been a member of the Baptist Church.

Funeral services are being held today (Thursday) at the New Bellsville Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Foster in charge. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery with the Bond Funeral Service in charge.
