Funeral services for Cecil B. Young, at 2p.m. Friday at the Browning Funeral Home in Fulton. Mr Young died Tuesday at the Veterans Hospital in Columbia Mo.
He was born on Montgomery City on December 23, 1906 the son o the late William and Beulah (Boone) Young. He married Iva Kroell December 21 1945 she survives.
Other survivors include one son, John Lynn Young of Columbia; one brother, Oliver Young of Livingston, Ontana; five sisters, Mrs Percy Lawrence of Kingdom City, Missouri, Mrs Patrick Oleary of St Louis, Missouri, Mrs Lee Watkins of St Louis, Mrs Leslie Walker of St Louis, and Mrs Frank Smith of Knoxville, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by several brothers, one sister ad one grandson.
Mr Young was a member of the Church of God Holiness.
Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens with Rev. E.G. Garrett officiating. Visitation will be at the Browning Funeral Home in Fulton Thursday afternoon and also in the evening.
