GIBSON CITY — Anthony Jack Weaver, 73, Gibson City, died at 2:25 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 31, 2012) at home with his devoted family by his side.

Mr. Weaver was born Oct. 4, 1939, in Saybrook, a son of Fred and Albia Sorrey Weaver.

He married Judy Reynolds on Oct. 23, 1957, in Covington, Ind. She survives in Gibson City.

Other survivors include a son, Kevin (Lenora) Weaver, and a daughter, Julie (Gary) Coit, both of Gibson City; six grandchildren, Tosha (Mitch), Dustin, Paige, Tara, Ashley and Cody; three great-grandsons, Tristan, Wyatt and Kale; and a sister, Lois Haas, Pocahontas, Ark.

He was preceded in death by a son, a daughter and a sister.

Jack owned and operated Weaver Painting for many years. He enjoyed building mini-Farmall tractors and loved to go fishing.

His graveside service will be Monday at Drummer Township Cemetery, Gibson City.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice. Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, is in charge of arrangements.
