January 17, 1943 - October 31, 2012 BLANCHARD Carolyn Woodard, 69, of Blanchard went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2012 after a battle with cancer. She was born on January 17, 1943, in Oklahoma City. She attended Capitol Hill High School. She married Roy L. Woodard on August 9, 1963. Carolyn was a homemaker and helped Roy build homes in South Oklahoma City. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother, Dixie Lea Moore, and father, John D. Moore. She is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Roy Woodard; children, Stevi Craig and husband Jay of Norman, Marc Woodard and wife Brenda of Oklahoma City, and Angie Spears and husband Ben of Blanchard. She is also survived by six grandchildren. Viewing will be 12-8 PM Sunday at Vondel Smith Mortuary, South Lakes. Graveside services are 10 AM Monday, Nov. 5, 2012 at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
