Cloyd William Miller, 66, of Shirleysburg R. D. 1, died Friday, February 25, 1972 at 2 a.m. in the J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon. He had been in failing health for the past two months. Born August 1, 1905 in Rockhill Furnace, he was a son of the late William and Matilda (Rogers) Miller. He was united in marriage to Blanche Gertrude Johnson of Shade Gap in Cumberland, Md. on August 12, 1929.

His wife survives, along with the following children: Mrs. Robert (Marie) Stapleton, Philadelphia; Mrs. Robert (Hilda) Minehart, Wadsworth, Ohio; Donald, Shirleysburg; Mrs. Barry (Faye) Bard, Shirleysburg; Mrs. Paul (Darlene) Warfel, Lancaster; Ronald, Shirleysburg; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Annie McCartney, Kistler; Mrs. Edith Fleck, Newton Hamilton; Mrs. Sadie Woods, Indiana state; Mrs. Cecil Fortney, Ft. Littleton; Hayden, Saltillo; James, Ft. Littleton; and Roland, Shirleysburg.

He was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church of Mount Union.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 27 at 2 p.m. from the Ott funeral home, Orbisonia. The Rev. Wilbur J. Deardorff, pastor of his church, will officiate, and interment will be made in Pleasant Hills Cemetery, Shade Gap R. D. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 o'clock this Saturday evening and on Sunday until the hour of the services.
