Services for Victor F. DeRose, 60, of 615 E. Division St., who died Thursday while vacationing in Las Vegas, will be at 8:15 a.m. Monday at Pirro & Sons Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in Our Lady of Pompei Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 514 Turtle St.
Mr. DeRose was a life resident of Syracuse. He retired in 1982 after 39 years with Interstate Brands Co.
Mr. DeRose was a communicant of Our Lady of Pompei Church. He served with the Army in World War II and was a member of Coonley-Nojaim Chapter, Disabled American Veterans.
Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Cosentino; a son, Phillip of Connecticut; three daughters, Paula Best of Syracuse, Julie DeRose of California and Mary DeRose of Florida; three grandchildren, an aunt and sveral nieces, nephews and cousins.
