Armand G. Gregoire, 65, of Candia, and formerly a resident of Chester, died on Oct. 26, 2012, at Concord Hospice House after a lengthy illness.

Armand was born in Derry, the son of Gerard E. (Jerry) and Edna Marie (Snell) Gregoire.

Armand worked at LensCrafters at the Mall of New Hampshire as a lab technician for 15 years. His favorite part of his job was watching children's reactions when they put on their first pair of glasses.

Armand was a master craftsman, accomplished woodworker and an excellent plumber. He was a NRA member for many years and loved to hunt and fish, especially trout.

Armand was a member at the St. Peters Parish in Auburn for many years. He was a kind and gentle hearted man who was very patriotic and loved his family dearly. Because of his beloved full, bushy-white beard, he was often mistaken for Santa.

He is survived by his father, Jerry Gregoire of Candia; his son, Lee Gregoire of Candia; his two brothers Mike Gregoire of Candia, and Rick Gregoire of Guilford, Conn.; his former wife and friend Sarah Bloom of Candia; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his mother Edna in 2008.

Committal prayers and burial will follow at Holbrook Cemetery in Candia.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Maiden-Petrin Funeral Home in Candia.
