Ross Linares(Rosendo)of San Bernardino, California, went to be with the Lord on June 28, 2006 at the age of 82. Ross was a Rank Private First Class Veteran who fought in in the Philippines of World War II. He was employed by Norton Air Force Base for 29 years and a member of El Trio Alessandro. Ross is survived by his wife, Maxine Linares, three daughters, Marilyn Linares and Dorothy Cardoza of San Bernardino and Stella Gonzalez of Kansas, two sons, Karl Linares of San Bernardino, Robert Ramos of Texas and one sister, Ernestine Araujo of San Bernardino. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Ross will be remembered as a loving Husband, Daddy, Grandpa and Great Grandpa. Services at 2 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2006 at Valley View Chapel in Montecito Memorial park and Mortuary.

He married Maxine Castro Dela Cruz and they lived in Bessant Street in San Bernardino. He worked for the Department of Defense for 50 years and lived in the county for 82 years. He died at St. Bernardine Medical Center from a heart attack and other health problems on June 28, 2006 and Montecito Mortuary handled the funeral arrangements.
