Arden D. Kerby, 82, of Norwalk, Ohio, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 in his home. He was born March 23, 1930 in Sutton, W.V. to the late Lawrence and Nela Lou (James) Kerby and came to this area in 1952 from Grantsville, W.V. Arden retired in 1992 from the Crown Steel Company in Lorain, Ohio. He enjoyed gardening and tinkering.
Arden is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Frame) Kerby, of Norwalk, Ohio and by his children, Judith Ann and Olin Taylor, of Bakersville, N.C., David and Brenda Kerby, of Florence, Ohio, Brent Kerby, of Walhonding, Ohio, Crystal L. and Richard Brewer, of Grantsville, W.V., Aaron and Karen Kerby, of Willard, Ohio, and Stephen and Darlene Kerby, of Greenwich, Ohio; 21 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. He also is survived by his brother, Garrett Kerby, of Mt. Zion, W.V. and by his sister, Arleta Frame, of Kilgore, Texas. He was preceded in death by an infant son, John Paul Kerby in 1970, and by his brothers, Denver, Donald and Lawrence Kerby.
