David H. Orr, 65, resident of North Syracuse, formerly of Pulaski, died Thursday at his home. David was born April 26, 1944, in Canastota, the son of David H. and Helen Hill Orr. He lived in Pulaski for 35 years before moving to North Syracuse in 2005. He also lived in Sandy Creek. He graduated from Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School in 1962, and he received his bachelor's degree in education in 1967. David married Barbara Brady on February 12, 1977. He was employed by Sandy Creek Central School for 30 years, retiring in 1997. David was a member of the Mad River Club and NYS Retired Teachers Association. Surviving: wife, Barbara A. Brady Orr of Cicero; two sons, David H. Orr of Lillington, NC, and Andrew B. Orr of Syracuse; one daughter, Sarah E. Orr of Central Square; and two grand-daughters, Mary Campbell Orr and Greyson Orr. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
