Duncan C. Green
    Funeral services for Duncan Cameron Green, Sr., 53, a McComb insurance man and former Jackson resident, were conducted Saturday at 4 p.m. from St. James Episcopal Church in Jackson, with Rev, Bishop John M. Allin, Rev. Duncan M. Hobart, Rev. Fred Bush, all of Jackson, and Rev. Colton Smith of McComb, officiating. He was killed near McComb Friday night when his car smashed into a bridge on Highway 51.

    A native of Meridian, he was the son of the late Rev. William Mercer Green, bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi, and had lived in Jackson 30 years prior to moving to McComb two years ago.

    His survivors are his wife, the former Ernestine (Teena) Williams of Lumberton; and a son, Duncan Cameron Green, Jr. both of McComb; and two brothers, Rev. William Mercer Green of San Francisco, Calif., and John T. Green of Jackson.

    Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery with Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Bob Cochran, J. L. Cooley, Jimmy Fowler, Newton H. James, Glenn H. Massey, Jr., A. L. Parman, Theodore G. Sullivan, George Turpin and L. A. Wyatt.
