John Henry Spencer, 93, of rural New Bloomfield, died at 1:30am on March 1, 1943 at Callaway County Hospital where he had been a patient for three days.
Dr. George F. Wood, of Fulton, pronounced death caused by Cardio Renal-Vascular Disease due to Generalized Arteriosclerosis. The informant was Margaret Ellen Spencer, spouse of the deceased.
Mr. Spencer was born October 15, 1849, in Virginia, the son of unnamed parents. He was united in marriage to Margaret Ellen Burns and she survives. Mr. Spencer was a farmer.
Arrangements were under the care of Ray A. Holt of New Bloomfield. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery.
