Mrs. Marie Savoie Labit, age 93, died March 23 at 7:34 pm in Sako's Nursing Home. She was a resident of 191 West Park Avenue.Mrs. Labit was the wife of John Labit and the
daughter of the late Aurelien Labit (sic) and the late Marie Chiasson.

Survivors are two sons, Henry and Luke of Houma, six daughters, Mrs Arthur Cenac of Houma, Mrs Armond Naquin of Montegut, Mrs Addis Savoie of New Orleans, (Mrs?) Louis Pontiff of New Orleans, (Mrs?) Howard Tindall of Sterling, Colorado; 19 grandchildren; 33 (great) grandchildren; and 8 great great grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held Wednesday, March 25 at 11 am in St. Gregory Catholic Church with interment in St. Francis Cemetery No. 1.Chauvin funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
