Robert P. Cain Final Rites Held

Funeral services for Robert P. Cain Sr., 74, who died Tuesday afternoon at his home at 1002 13th St., were held this afternoon at Jones and Spigener Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.

A native of Tallapoosa County, Mr. Cain had made his home in Tuscaloosa for many years. He worked until 1953 at Gulf States Paper and since then had been associated with his son, James M. Cain, in operation of the Cain Machine Shop.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Marcell Seidman of New York City; two sons, R.P. Cain, Jr. of Birmingham and J.M. Cain of Tuscaloosa; four sisters, Mrs. Frank Perdue of Arab; Mrs. Dick Gore, of Miami, Fla., Mrs. Gee Collier of Washington, D.C., and and Maude Cain of Alexander City; and his mother, Mrs. Mary Duncan Cain of Alexander City.

Pallbearers were D.L. Burgin, H.H. Hall, W.J. Johnson, Fred Gamble, Pierce Pratt and L.T. Mosely.
