The death of Mrs. Barbara Noftziger, which occurred at 10 o'clock Monday inornlng, is a particularly sad one for her children, following so soon the death or her husband. She passed away during the time the funeral services were being held for her husband. Mrs.
Noftziger had been ill for a week of bronchial pneumonia, following an attack of the grip.
She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara Ebersol Martin and was born in France on April 10, 1838, coming to this country when eight years of age. She was a woman possessed of a cherry, congenial temperament, and had ihe respect and esteem of her neighbors and acquaintances.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Catherine Bellar, Carthage; Mrs. Jacob Stolzfus, Lowvllle; Mrs. Daniel H. Moser, Belfort; Mrs. David Farney, Croghan. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Michael Zehr, of Indian River. Her funeral services will be held from the Amish church at 10 o'clock Thursday morning.

We the undersigned, wish to thank our kind neighbors and friends for the many acts of kindness during the sickness and death of our beloved father and mother.

She had been ill for 1 week. Six children from this family died of typhoid fever in a 14 month period.
